After working with the Snohomish County PUD for the last several months, we've just launched their brand new website.
We've been working with the PUD since 1997, and first designed and built the previous version of their website in 2002. During the in between years we've also worked closely with them to build an intranet system and make minor changes to the website based on evolving needs.
The new site is designed to meet a number of key goals. First, the new home page devotes a significant amount of space to large, engaging callouts. These callouts are designed to incorporate vivid photography alongside the message, drawing attention to new and important information. Second, we created a new navigation system with varying levels of priority and emphasis, all of which is dynamic and can be extended on-the-fly as the site evolves. Finally, we developed a site-wide video library that allows the PUD to archive and display their growing library of video content. Videos can be listed as thumbnails or embedded as a player in-line.
We also took the opportunity to upgrade the site to the latest version of Orchestrate, our enterprise-level web platform. Orchestrate v2 provides a significantly improved user interface and editing environment over the version they were previously used to. Using Orchestrate provides a flexible, powerful, and customizable platform for the site, allowing the functionality to evolve with their needs.

Luminous knows how to rock it and sock it out of the park. We have worked with this enthusiastic, talented and friendly team for over a decade and never been dissatisfied with the results.
